WHAT IS CHURCH MEMBERSHIP?
Committed membership in a local church is one of life’s most important decisions. Church membership provides the biblical context for Christians to commit to one another and help each other follow the Lord Jesus Christ. When a person enters into church membership, they communicate that they are committing to a particular local church, where they will worship and serve God, submit to the leadership, and faithfully carry out the precepts of Scripture in relation to one another. Meaningful church membership affords every Christian the opportunity for fellowship, encouragement, mutual edification, and accountability (Romans 12:4-5; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Acts 2:42,47; 20:28; Hebrews 10:24-25; 13:17; Matthew 18:15-20; Ephesians 2:19-22; 4:12-16; 1 Timothy 3:15; 1 Peter 2:5; 5:1-5).

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
Because church membership is a very important matter, we take our time to ensure that prospective members understand the gospel, are regenerate believers in Christ, are familiar with biblical church membership, and have an appreciation for the doctrines and distinctives that Grace Fellowship Church holds to.
